Tourist office

⚠️  The Melun Val de Seine Tourist Office has moved!

Due to safety work on the Espace Saint-Jean building, the Office is now located at 14 rue Paul Doumer in the Rayon coworking space in Melun! The team is on hand to welcome you on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm, and can be contacted by email at contact@otmvs.com and by phone on 01 64 52 64 52!

The tourist office promotes the 20 communes of the Melun Val de Seine conurbation as tourist attractions. The area boasts 3 outstanding heritage sites (Melun, Maincy, Seine-Port), 3 French museums (Musée de la Gendarmerie nationale, Musée d'art et d'histoire, Musée aéronautique et spatial Safran) and 30 historic monuments. The area is famous for the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, the first private site in France to be listed as a historic monument, and for the rich history of the royal town of Melun.

The Melun Val de Seine conurbation straddles the historic Brie and Gâtinais regions, a strategic position accentuated by the Seine, which flows through the area from east to west. The Seine is the lifeblood of the region, and the region's tourist office is constantly developing its river-based activities.
